Every single day I wake up with big, fat, red bites on my body. I'm not sure wether it's bed bugs or what (I know its definately not mosquitos) but they are frustrating coz now I'm gonna get nasty spots on my body once they heal. Please can someone help me with this, my body is aching and my skin has taken its toll. How should I prevent this from happening again?
Thank you

Thats odd, I think your best bet is to go see a doctor, if it isnt bed bugs. If it is bed bugs they are not easy to find, simply because they like to hide in anything fabric and dark places. An exterminator sometimes has trouble locating them. Here are some prevention methods. Simple physical control methods include standing the legs of beds in soapy water, coating the legs with petroleum jelly or double-sided sticky tape. Bed bugs cannot climb polished glasss or metal easily and they don't fly, so that the legs of beds can also be placed inside glass jars or metal cans. Heating to 97° to 99°F will kill most bed bugs, as will temperatures below 48°F. Chemical control includes the use of a residual insecticide (usually pyrethroids) in cracks and crevices. Sprays containing natural pyrethrins can also be used. Sorptive dusts such as fumed silica (also called diatomaceous earth) are useful in closed, hard-to-reach places. These treatments are best done by a professional pesticide applicator.
The best of luck to you.
You should also clean everything really well, as far as fabric around your bed, and also your mattress.

It could very well be bed bugs, in which case you'll have to fumigate the whole room and get rid of the furniture. Another possibility you might consider if you have indoor/outdoor pets is fleas. Generally fleas don't always harm humans, but if your pets are sleeping in the bed with you and you happen to be allergic to the bites it could be really nasty. My bet is on th bed bugs. Go to the doctor to get the bites checked out.

Have you gone to your doctor about this yet. Dust mites are usually not known to cause such severe skin reactions/if any at all. You might have an allergic reaction of some sort. Could be the detergents you wash your bed sheets with.
