You obviously are suffering from some depression. It would be good to find a local support group to attend. Where there are others who understand and can give support. If you cant do that. There are plenty of online depression support groups to join also.
I run one and have for 14 years. Its very successful and very supportive. If interested , look in yahoo groups for depressionsupport1 and come join us. We can offer ideas and support to help.,

First of all, figure out why you feel this way! Do a journal! Sometimes figuring out why, helps us to give ourselves why not to. Maybe you don't know the reason, then get help. Join a support group, such as Alan-non, AA, or even CODA, or find a self help book on the subject. I have known of people that was molested as children, women that are being abused verbally, emotionally, or have been in the past, end up feeling worthless. By the way, who are you comparing yourself to? Sometimes we put expectations on ourselves because we are comparing ourselves with someone that is able to accomplish, deal, or do something better than we are. That is being unfair to ourselves We can only do what we know how to do; and only with our own limitations. Also feeling worthless, can come from feelings of feeling guilty about something we've done, or haven't done in the past. I have this motto: THOSE WHO DESERVE TO BE LOVED THE LEAST, NEEDS IT THE MOST. I used to apply this to others, but when I'm feeling like you do right now, I apply it to myself, or try to. When I'm feeling worthless, I know I need to be loved more, either by myself, and usually by myself. I need to give myself a break, and to quit being so hard on myself. I'm not perfect, I make mistakes, say the wrong things, don't do what I am suppose to do, do things I'm not suppose to do, and then open my mouth when I should keep it shut!
None of us are worthy of the ransom of Jesus Christ. No one deserves that loving kindness and the second chance his death gave us, but because he died for you and me, we are worthy to go before his Father and ask for help. AA taught me I don't live on a island, and therefore I can't do it alone. I not only need others to help me, but a Higher power to give me strength and wisdom to get done what I need to get done, even if it's feeling better about who I am on the inside.
Ps. 72:12-14 tells us that God cares for the lowly in heart, and will take care of the depressed soul, and that he does and quite generously if we ask for his help.

I understand dear, I feel this way myself sometimes.

Sometimes the best way to help ourself is to help someone else.
Try visiting at a nursing home for a few days now and then. Maybe help a young child with reading or their homework.

You are not worthless! This time of year is difficult for many...If you continue to feel low and depressed, consider speaking with a professional. Remember...you are not alone!

chocolate, bubble baths, pampering, get a new hair do, get some new make up. Do things to make yourself feel good.

Help others. This is the season to help others who are not so fortunate and it takes your mind off your problems.
