I think most folks will continue to answer "IT IS JUST A GROWTH SPURT"....and of course, this is what I believe also. Be careful to be mindful to what she says likewise. Is she experiencing any leg or arm cramps. It is true, the whole "growing pains" thing. My 6 yr. old daughter has had growing pains in her legs.
You could take your question one step further by doing some research online concerning the primary ages in which children have big jumps in growth.......In conclusion, Im pretty sure she is just fine and there is NOTHING to worry about.
As you probably already know- - - - make sure she is eating healthy foods, you know. Foods with substance and fill her with enough energy for the long haul. Avoid snacks that will cause a sugar "high" and following~ a sugar "crash".

Sounds like a growth spurt to me. Give her healthy snacks as you are doing and all will be fine. Since her weight is normal she's just growing. Eventually she'll hit one of those jags where you can't get her to eat a thing!

As long as the snacks are healthy, four year olds are usually extremely active so the hunger could easily be normal. If you are truly concerned though, I would recommend talking to your pediatrician or a nutritionist.

She is possibly bored. My nephew goes to the cupboard everytime he is bored with something but when i distract him with a new activity he is amused with that. and forgets about being "hungry" but so long as she is eating healthy food im sure there is no problem with her eating more!

~I would worry if she was overweight, which she isn't. She is eating healthy, so I would come to the same conclusion as you, she's having a growth spurt.
I would worry if she weren't eating enough. Don't let her go hungry.~

This is the best time to build her appetite so nothing to worry if she eats and able to digest no problems you see that she burns her calories by doing more exercise and playing.
