The average life of German Shepherd is usually 12-14 years. Lot depends upon on hw you keep them and wot you feed. well if they are kept really good, they can even pass the 14 years barrier but usually thats very difficult but there are expectations in each and every case!!!

Estimated to be around 12 to 13 years, although that can be completly false, because mine lived to be 15 years before passing. I think it depends on interbreeding also.. I had a friend who bread brother and sister, and the pups had health defects from day one. Provided it can from a reliable breeder, you should be looking at a nice long healthy life for your dog!
