well when my bf tells me he loves me
he wants me to say it back
well i dont think im ready to say i LOVE him
cuz i just like him
and he always looks at me after he says it waiting for me to say it back
what do i tell him??

Just simply say: I like you or i like you a lot, whatever the case may be. My boyfriend and i went through something similar when we first started dating. He starting sayin i love you way too early for me and my only reply would be thanks, i like you alot!

It may be likely, that he would rather you parrot the line back to him than really mean it. Tell him that you do not take the word "love" very lightly and that when you say it, you really mean it. Tell him that you really like him, but that the idea of repeating it back to someone who says it, takes the significance of the word away for you. Furthermore, when you feel the time is right you will certainly let him know. He is actually showing an immature action and could make you feel he is a bit controlling. Perhaps he is just insecure and wants you to make him feel special. Determine whatever it is and perhaps you can just say other nice things to make him satisfied.

If you don't Love(or think you will never love) him I would not be in that kind of relationship with him. But if you Do love Him but Just are not ready to say it Tell him. If he really loves you he will under stand.

If you are not ready, tell him you are not ready to say I LOVE U yet. Those are powerful words which should have real meaning behind them! Don't do it before you are ready!

Tell him exactly what you just said here. You shouldn't ever have to feel like you have to say something you don't really mean. If he can't understand that, dump him.

Just tell him that you really like him but that you are not ready to say I love you yet...i am sure he will understand....

tell him your not in your love phase... dont lead him on by saying i love you too because if he finds out you dont really then you will end up hurting him alot more than you think you will...
