Sometimes I think we’re just good friends but other times I wonder if he might actually have feelings for me. Yes I know I could just go up to him and ask him but I don’t want to make such a great friendship awkward or even worse lose it completely. He’s a quiet guy and he’s pretty open with me. I’ve caught him staring at me in english quite a few times and in ap us history after a month of school our teacher let us change seats if we wanted to and he was the only one that moved and he sat right next to me. He always sits next to me during lunch and he’s so sincere honest and kind. He makes me laugh and he laughs at all my jokes but that’s how he is with everyone else. He’s just kind in general. This all happened in the last month and maybe he’s just trying to be my friend but could there be more? I’m kind of embarrased by all the attention I get from him but I have to admit I think he’s a sweet guy and I think I like him…

It sounds like you're already good friends. Next time you're alone together, ask him how he feels about you. It might not be something he feels comfortable just coming out and saying on his own, but if you open the door for him, you never know.

Hmmm! this is a bit hard since you cannot ask him upfront. From what you have wrote, I think he likes you as why sit next to you when he can sit with anyone else, same goes to the staring part.
He seems friendly BUT I am very sure there is something he does with you that he does not do it with anyone else. So if I were you the next time he does something sweet to me, I will probably give him a kiss of the face or "touch his face" gently and said thank you, you are so sweet to me.
I think this will send him a message so if he likes you he will react.

give him a cute greeting card that opens up the lines of communication. something that you write inside that doesnt just come out and say it, but lets him take the lead cause it sounds liek you want him to.
all i can say is by his actions it seems like he likes you, so i would talk to him.

Some people are so friendly like you have just described this guy
and he may not have any feeling towards you like what you have
said because his is a platonic attitude and you misunderstood.

Ask your other friends if they think he likes you, 'cause they actually see what's going on and can normally tell if he's interested better than you can.
