In reality....God has created us all with freewill.
In reality....we would first need to define sin. Ask 100 people to define the word....you will get 80 different answers. Perhaps, because everyone is using their own experience as a measure of what sin is or is not.
So....God can do nothing, but love his creation and watch as they all work together and/or against each other to re-define sin.
Eventually....we may realize that sin is a negative word and start to laugh and accept each other with less negativity.

"In reality"? Why would you ask this? Where you sitting at home bored, or did you just want to get interesting insight on peoples beliefs? This question seems to leave no gray area, and that really ... surprises me. You are only gonna receive two type of answers, and I believe that you knew this. One is gonna be the general atheist view of he doesn't exist, so no. The other will be the Many denominations of christian siting either forgiveness or damnation from the New and Old Testament, leaving you with the answer of yes. In other words you are prone to answering what your religious standing is as a result of answering this question. What would a Taoist reply? "sin is a disruption of nature, which nature (god) itself well repair," perhaps. I don't know I'm just babbling its late.
So that no one argues that i didn't answer that question... "in reality" it is impossible to answer this question because It is impossible to prove or disprove the existence of God. If he were to exist it would not be possible to answer this question definitively without an act by God in respect to sin.

Sin is imperfection, we are born so inperfect that any thing can happen to us at any age and for sure we know we are going to die.
We can also easily do other things that are not proper to do as a result of the sin we are born into.
Jesus died for us for the sin we are born into that he might save us from it and bring us back into perfection, but if we do horrible we must suffer the conquence if that.
1Cor.15:22-28;
AS IN ADAM ALL DIE, EVEN SO IN CHRIST SHALL ALL BE MADE ALIVE.
Heb.9:27;
It is appointed unto man once to die and after that the judgement.

Do you mean 'god' and 'sin' as it is understood in the Bible?
Sin is the disobedience of God's commandments.
Disobedience comes from temptation and free will.
Temptation comes from having opposition, being presented with choices of doing or not doing something. Free will comes from being able to recognize that choices are being offered and then also being able to select a choice.
So Man in general has the capacity to recognize that there is good and bad, and that he is able to choose one or the other. If he choses incorrectly, he then breaks a commandment and has sinned. And since God cannot tolerate the least degree of sin in his presence, then that sinner will not be able to enter heaven.
Now, back to your question. What can 'god' do about 'sin'?
He sends his Son to offer himself up as the perfect sinless sacrifice to appease the demands of justice. He pays the debt for all of us and so now WE owe HIM. Which is why he outlines his re-payment plan. This is what I want you to do for me...and then tells us in the Bible. Do all that, and he promises to call our debt satisfied and we can be forgiven.
IF we don't take advantage of his gesture, if we don't do what he says. Then we will have to pay the debt ourselves. And he has already warned us. The pain and suffering he had to go thru had caused him, a god, to tremble in drops of blood. That's the punishment awaiting anyone who doesn't do what he asks.
So really, 'god' has done all he can do about 'sin'. Its up to you.

God can do anything he wants to about sin. However, he chooses not to. he allowed sin into the world so that we would have to choose him. by giving us free will he also created sin. in other words he can but he doesn't want to.

It's up to the individual. If you want your sins forgiven, and ask "god" to forgive your sins, and you believe that your sins are forgiven, then yes, "god" did something with your "sin." But you can't be forgiven, if you can't forgive others. It's all in the New Testament.

god commited "sin" by creating mankind.
since the freedom is used to cause "sin"
therefore He is as much to blame as anyone else.
So this is why EVERYONE is forgiven by Him and accepted into heaven.

This is it, hon.
The earth, the sky, the deepness of the ocean.
That is the sum of our souls. This place reflects all that is within.
We see it flower and bloom. We see it rot and decay.
It is the inevitable way of life upon which we all tread, as one, all of humanity together. We cannot turn from it, nor can we deny it.
but along the way, we can caress one another and guide one another, and look forward when we can, look behind when we can, and place one foot in front of the other.
Be.
