You are in a room and there are two doors, one leads to certain death and the other door leads to freedom. There is a troll guarding each door, one will always tell the truth and the other one will always tell a lie. You can only ask one question. What question could ask that would lead you to freedom.

If you have heard this riddle before and know the answer feel free to correct me if I did not tell it right. I am pretty sure I have all of the important details though.

You don't know which troll is which or which door they are standing in front of.

yes this has been posted several times a day
usually it's the one about two paths
lets call the doors A death
B freedom
since you don't know which troll it is - you ask
Which door would the other troll tell me to take to freedom?

the liar will say A

the truthteller knows the liar will say A so he says A

and you take the other door.

If I were to ask you what this door leads to, what would you tell me?
Then go with whatever the troll says.

The key is to make it a 2-part question. If the truth-telling guard is the one you ask, he will tell you freedom or death accurately (the assumption is that the trolls know the answer). If you ask the lie-telling guard and he is guarding the freedom door and you ask him, "What's behind this door?" he would tell you "death," so with the question above, he'll answer "freedom" (i.e., he lies about what he would tell you, and the double lies lead to the truth).

Ask "If I asked you if it were safe to go through your door, what would you say?"

Safe door, liar troll - "yes" (double negative, one lie for the door, one for asking about the answer)
Safe door, truth troll - "yes"

Death, liar troll - "no"
Death, truth troll - "no"

EDIT: In reply to the one above me - that is wrong. If the truth troll would say A, then logically the lying troll would say the opposite - B and you would not be any closer.

The answer is simple I will goto the troll who speaks only lie, i will ask him does this door lead towards freedom? If he says "Yes" then i will not by that door (As i know he speaks lie only), if he answers "No" then certainly i will go by that door only.

Are you Agree with me ?

i'm assuming you in basic terms have one question to invite. Ask him what somebody from the different village could say the place village B is. no be counted who the villager is, the respond could consistently be the alternative of the certainty (because of the fact villager B could truthfully repeat villager A's lie, and villager A could lie approximately villager B's basic assertion.)
