About a week ago I had walked during a cold very windy day and it caused my right ear to ache. A day or so later my throat (on the right side) began to swell and hurt but went back to normal a day or so after. Now for the past 2 or 3 days, the inside of my right ear has been hurting to the point where it hurts to insert a Q-tip. I don't think it's anything serious but it's very uncomforterable. Should I go see a doctor about this or is this a simple problem and I should be able to find some drops for it?

Don't ever put anything inside your ear thinner than your elbow! You can't see and could easily puncture your ear drum. If you have constant ear pain and fever and congestion, you likely have an acute middle ear infection, otitis media. This can be treated with oral antibiotics or nothing done and it will resolve in several days time. It's possible that there is some hard ear wax that got pushed up against your ear drum and is causing pain. It's also possible that you have an infection of the external ear canal, call otitis externa. Check for this by jiggling the top of your ear with your hand. If this causes pain, you probably have the external otits. Drops will help with this, or you can use 5% tea tree oil (essential oil of Melaleuca alternifolia) mixed in olive oil and put those drops in 3 times a day. Tea tree oil has very potent and broad spectrum antibacterial actions. If jiggling your ear doesn't hurt, try some over-the-counter wax softener with gentle irrigation. It's also possible that you have a blockage in the eustachian tube connecting your middle ear to the back of your throat. This will result in pressures across your ear drum not being equalized, stretching of the ear drum and intermittent pain.

See a doctor, the brain is nothing to fool around with infections, it could just be a sinus infection gotten into the ear canal, such as if you sneezed or blew your nose too hard, or just sleep on your rightside a lot. But if the ear is swollen shut, and especially if it's burning hot, better to nip it in the bud then let it rupture an ear drum or spread any further.

Unless you have a diretline to some good antibiotics and the right kind you better see the doc. It sounds like you have an inner ear infection, but for all I know you could have a boil in your ear. Your hearing is at risk, some infections are best treated by the doc. It sucks I know.

Go see a doctor as it is probably an ear infection. There are no antibiotics that you can get for this without a prescription.

Go see a doctor for a possible ear infection. If you don't you could end up with permanent hearing loss or damage or something worse.

It sound like it to late to go to the doctor. God has already cured you of the infection. Why pay a doctor for gods work.
