While I was in Saudi arabia some time back, i found they have the least respect and tolerance in world for other religions.I saw them beating people,have religiuos police all around. Once i spat on my friends face for wearing a cross and then slapped him on his face.
And we see mosques all around the world.

Religious tolerance accept,respect and allow human beings to have the choice and freedom to worship the religion of one's choice.It not forced on someone.
Its borne from the inner love to your fellow human beings.

In my view, most tolerant religion is Hinduism. India has allowed many faiths in to it. Hinduism has allowed all - atheism, dwaita, adwaita, many beliefs and practices. It never supressed any opinion from any one.
Some religions were born from Hinduism. And many people say Hinduism is a way of life, far more than a religion.
Intolerant - I dont have any comments, but I think muslims in India are different from other muslims.

In Muslim countries, preaching of other religions is prohibited. People from other religions cannot survive for long, without being converted. Haven't you heard of stories of persons who were either Hindus or Sikhs, missing in the wake of Partition and got separated. As they are now traced, they are already converted to Islam. As long as this perception is not inculcated, you become impatient and intolerant and tend to become violent and indulge in crimes against humanity, in the name of God and religion.

I think Buddhism is the most tolerant since it's in the very basic philosophy of it to be tolerant. For least tolerant, I'd have to say Evangelism. The basic nature of it is to preach to others who are not of that religion.

Saudi Arabia is not The Country ruled in Islamic way.
It is ruled by Saudi's.
There is NO king ship in Islam. Islam promotes logical Democracy.Except one true religion others are not religion but deviations from the true religion.
After Prophet, Khilafat or selection of Khalifah been done by a Shura, means a commity comprising elders of the nation. Prophet in his life also usually consulted Shura before decisions.
What do we think that God Almighty wants us to be confused with many religions?
No, God Almighty has sent many Holy Prophets with one common massage, that is worship only one God, Unique God, Creator of Universes, Creator of every living and nonliving things in Universes.Prophet Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad (Peace be upon all of them) has been sent by Only One Almighty God, with one religion. And that is worship one God and submit ourselves completely to Almighty. That is Islam. Means complete submission to Almighty God. Since 1400 years in majority of Muslim areas thousands of minorities or even majority of other faiths are living without changing their faith.
In Spain Muslims ruled 800 years and there were Churches besides Masjids. After Muslim rules all Muslims vanished from Spain. On India Muslims ruled few Hundred years but still Hindu's are in majority, Muslims did not converted them by force.
Islam in fact protects people belonging to other faith's.

The question is incorrect. Every religion teaches tolerance, because they all refer to the same GOD, even though they call him with different names.
There is nothing called as intolerant religion..If it is INTOLERANT... then it is not Religion.

All religions in their belief are tolerant ; it is the people or religious preceptors who are intolerant to other religions. Teachings of all religions are more or less the same but the preceptors are narrow minded.

Islam, beyond doubt, is the most intolerant. No other religion considers it meritorious to murder someone who gives up the faith. (How this can be reconciled with Qur'an 2:256, I have no idea. It says "There is no compulsion in religion.")
