Glasgow!

It depends of so many things!
What I like in Glasgow, is that even early in the morning you hear people going to the office joking and laughing!
That's why!
I am not sure, this is what you mean by romantic, though...
To me romantic, is not a moody feeling, it is an exhilarating (exciting) one!
And for the moment, I prefer still to keep my breathe!

Paris in the Springtime is pretty romantic. Venice is smelly most of the year and when it's not smelly it's foggy and freezing (not romantic). The Cinque Terre and the Golfo Dei Poeti in Liguria, Italy gets my vote for the most breathtakingly beautiful, romantic part of the world.

Well, it's not Paris. I lived there. Venice stinks most of the year from polluted canals.
I love Barbados and Hawaii

First you need to define your need. You need quietness, serenity, isolation, natural OR artificial environment, or what all? If you can feel close to each other, every place may be romantic.
An isolated beach in Goa may be what you are looking for. Sikkim is another romantic place on Himalayas in India.

I don't know because I haven't seen the whole world. My favorite city is Cuzco in the Andes of Peru.

Definately eire, Clare, Dublin, Limerick, Galway, Kerry, Belfast, Tipperary, Cork, Kilkenny, Omagh, or certainly any the place in eire, what a large u . s . a . and heat human beings.

I f you want some romantic 'alone' time, then go Baden-Baden in Germany. Adjacent to the Black Forest, it's historic, beautiful and very romantic..
