How can a guy find a real woman that's not all about buy me this?

You know some women has forgotten about walks on the beach, making love by a campfire, candlelight dinner, it's all about going to the mall, what's romantic about that?

I think its this day and age where there are so many people who are looking for relationships with persons for material gain. A lot of women (myself included) can say similar about men not being romantic or chivalrous anymore. It really boils down to the fact that you just haven't found your match yet, that's all. You sound like a really good guy, its only a matter of time before you meet a good girl who deserves what you have to offer!

Tom, You must be looking for love in all the wrong places.
My husband caught me with the dinner by candlelight and the walks on the beach. He gave me the world Not the stuff at the mall. He was creative.
I had enough of what guys would purchase at the mall over the years . When a guy would give me those type things I knew right then and there that they didn't know me. He did not know my heart. I had a guy even offer me a car one time. I ran like the wind
He just wanted to win the prize Not really love me get to know me.
It was the stupid little rose from the yard that would catch me. Not the 12 roses that was bought at the flower shop that the guy put no heart into.

I have to laugh I have had many men call me over the last 5 years that were in my past over 20 years ago that remember me fondly because I was not that women who took advantage Some were kind enough to say they were sorry they lost me.

I don't know if your into church or not But that is a good place to start looking . They are looking for that stable relationship. the moonlight and stars.The bar seine is where you find the mall women the users and abusers.

I've found one right here! but then whats so romantic about football and hanging out with ur homies some guys rather b with ther Friends rather than at home cuddling with there woman
most of u don't even like to display affection n public places was up with that so women have not lost ther romantic sides we just learn to cope with the fact that guys aren't as romantic as tv lets on to b. so u r one in a million consider urself lucky. i luv the beach it mesmerizes me peaceful calming tranquil it's a way of escape for me when life has drained me. So we r still around we just need a helpful reminder that all work and no play is meaningless. about the shopping thing women find comfort n shopping. and this is 2006 we no longer depend on ur checks were making our own money and spending it very well thank u

If you are from Europe or US its really hard to find the woman you like. But, if you are from Asia, I have to say that most women here are conservative, sweet, romantic and loving. Be careful though with the women you meet on the bars, malls or casinos. Try to find an educated working woman whom you meet thru a friend or work. I'm a Filipino and I can say that most Filipinas are like that.

Even women with money love to shop. If you detest shopping, then don't go. You could find something else that women like to do that will appease their gathering instincts. How about picking shells on the beach, searching for exotic flowers in a state park, or searching for buried treasures along the coast.

I got some bad news for you man, unless you go for the fat chicks or fudley ones, no woman exist that does not want some man to pay her bills. Rare is the girl who does want to do romantic things that do not cost an arm and leg. Is like the more money they get you to spend on them, the more the self esteem grows. i know how that is. but now a days its a material world and they are material girls (sorry). most women say all men are shallow but i beg to differ. women are extremly shallow now all they want is for you to buy them cr@p. i got lucky and found a girl who isnt all about the cr@p but is about the stuff we do. which is perfect cuz im broke. I mean i love to be able to buy her nice things but thats not all she cares about. inorder to find a real woman not a fake high maitenence (spelling?) girl you have to look for someone to be friends with first. any girl you just pick up at a bar or a club isnt gonna want to be with you for the times. clubs bars and places like that are awaful. if you want a real woman you have to look deeper than skin and get to know a girl first and maybe try picking up someone who is a bit more matur. no micro skirts and uggs with belly shirts an playboy bunny belly button rings. they are fake and just want sex and stuff. maybe a collage class that isnt just basic requirements like an advanced lit class or something where you will find all sorts of people with ambition and a plan for themselves. people who are secure and not living off of whoever they are dating. good luck in your search a good woman is hard to find.

Yes i agree, nowadays morals have changed and its a shame! Just get rid of the ones that act like that in the beginning that way you don't get attatched and they don't leech to you later on. Just find a smart girl with some education and common sense :) you will.
