Is it in our gene?
will there be any day when our lakes are clean, rain will not carry filth on roads, clean buses/ Trains on roads, clean gardens and so on.
If we are aware of such things, what are we doing for this?
I try my best to avoid such things but when it will be in each indians mind.

I haven't been to India as yet, so I can't say firsthand why. I don't think it is in your genes. I live in Australia and we have plenty of dirty people here too. But generally things are pretty clean. A couple of reasons for this are: 1. Many people are employed as cleaners. We have bus cleaners, train cleaners, road cleaners etc. 2. Fines are imposed on people caught littering, such as throwing a cigerette out of the car etc. 3. Volunteers clean beaches, other waterways and parks, along with some paid cleaners. 4. We have many different government organisations who make sure businesses do the right thing.

Often when people don't follow etiquette or live cleanly, it is because they haven't been taught these things. As time goes by, and India becomes more like the western world, this will change. But wherever you live, there will always be some people who can't be bothered and just don't care. Hopefully their numbers will get less. Hope I've helped answer your question.

It is all because of you...

Yea, you can't believe right?

It is because you and every one around believe, we are dirty people and we can never be clean and tidy.

Change your belief. Believe we can be better and our homes, streets, cities and nation can be clean.

We think, we are corrupt, dirty, ugly and unholy. Stop that thought and stop condemning ourselves. Have you ever seen an American asking his fellow men why they are doing some of those things which every American knows it wrong? Have you seen them blaming their entire community? Heaping up filth on each other instead of taking responsibility?

Have you ever come down to the dirty looking street to clean it? But you sit at your home, shake your legs reading your local news paper and abuse all the rest of the Indians.

Do you wash your own plates at home? You let your maid or your wife do that for you.

You dirty Indian, change your mind set first!

Huge part is Laziness. I went on vacation to India and the
people just throw garbage over there shoulder, out side there bedroom window and out of moving vehicles. No regard for where it lands. Business also throw garbage in the public streets.

The goverment should step in with some kind of promotion for clean India pride and fines for public littering. They also need to promote some recycling programs for items like plastic bottles and pop cans.
