We danced really close, but he hangs out with some people that dance with girls whether they like them or not, and then my friend pushed us together for the last dance. I left the dance quickly after from nerves, and then the next day he didn't even glance at me in the hallways??
Is he nervous, or was it just so casual for him?

He asked you to dance, not marry him.

"and then my friend pushed us together for the last dance."
Maybe your friend knows something you don't. Ask your friend if he likes you.

"I left the dance quickly after from nerves, and then the next day he didn't even glance at me in the hallways??"
Maybe he felt rejected that you left so quickly? Or he is nervous too?

Do you like him? Maybe during your next conversation, you could tell him that it was nice to dance with him.

The only way to find out if he likes you or not is to ask. I think that he might have a little bit of gitters so he probably is afraid to speak to you. Don't know how old you are but I must say don't let your friends influence you into things that you know is wrong or you are uncomfortable with. Especially sex. I gather that you are young and very much going to school at this time so please be aware that there are dangers out there. Yes you might not be afraid of the monsters under your bed anymore that doesn't mean that there aren't mosters out there. Its just hard to see because they are all around and blended into society. Do you know what I mean? Well what I mean is that there are Sexually Transmitted Diseases out there and the monster are the ones that are going around intentionally sharing it. Be careful on your journey of life...

A friend pushing you together-hmmm if you danced with him befor that, perhaps he is interested but feels he was being disrespected, his feelings, by the other friend pushing him to dance, maybe he thinks that you and the friend are goofing with him? Go talk to him.

ur not the only option he has. if you want to b with him u'll have to do a (much) better job than the rest of them. my guess is u both need to grow up a little bit.

he's only the one who could answer that.....what you can do for now is to greet him in a friendly manner whenever you see him in the hallways.....from there he might recognize you!
