It gets really annoying, I got it when I was playing basketball a few days ago and I got shouldered in the mouth and my bottom teeth cut about 3/4 inch of the inside of my lip. It's white and it doesn't really bleed so I guess I should call it a scrape instead.

Does anyone know anything that would help it heal? It doesn't look like it's gonna heal anytime soon. I dunno if I have any special ointments around the house or anything.

Whenever I move my bottom lip it rubs against my gums and teeth regardless, so it's pretty hard to leave it alone

You're in luck mouth wounds heal faster than most any kind of wound. You can speed up the process and soothe it at the same time by wetting a regular tea bag and placing it in your mouth over the wound. It might sting a little at first and it will taste very bitter, but the tannic acids in the tea will help it.

You might try brewing some green tea...drink it and put the teabag on the cut for a bit. Green tea has powerful antioxidants in it that might help it heal faster. I had a cut on the inside of my mouth and it really helped. Good luck!

It will heal in about a week or two. You could gargle with Listerine. It will hurt like mad, but then it will be numb for a long time, and will heal quicker. Ambesol will also help the pain.

Number one thing is to stop poking at it. Keep it clean by keeping your mouth clean. You can use hydrogen peroxide to rinse your mouth with. Orajel or Orabase can provide a covering and numbs it at the same time.

swish warm salt water in your mouth for a while. Don't swallow!! It will taste yucky, but your lip will heal faster.
