Hi there! Although I'm currently overseas, in Brisbane I was involved in an Organic Food Cooperative - the website is http://www.hotbanana.org
You can order and pay online - you choose how much you want to pay and specify which fruits and vegetables you like and dislike. There's also a huge range of dried goods from rice, nuts, spices, sweets, shampoo, soap, sugar, tea, coffee, chocolate, eggs, juice, muesli, toothpaste - and all organic!
Prices are really cheap for organic goods cause they buy in bulk from local farmers. You can be involved by volunteering every month or so for a few hours - sort veggies, deliver boxes, go to the markets, do some admin. If you dont want to you can pay a 20% surcharge, but the volunteering is the best bit - you meet lots of great people and have fun!
I know it sounds like I'm trying to sell this - I'm not, I just was involved for a couple of years in brisbane and had a great time and got delicious cheap food delivered to me - so I want to share the knowledge!
