Well, it would help to know the age of the child and where you live.
Around here I'd say $3 to $5 an hour is acceptable. The higher end would indicate a baby, and the lower end an older child.

I would say 8-10 dollars per day max.. is is after all only 3 hours, and in all day daycare you would pay around 15 dollars a day.....

$3.50 an hour. that is how much i get paid and it seems pretty reasonable to me. but it also kind of depends on the age of the child. the younger the more work usually. i babysit a girl who is about 4. so she is pretty low maintenance at least for me. but a tiny kid would be harder to keep control of.

I think 5 is good. its not a lot but she isn't doing much. My mom used to pay our babysitter 8 an hour for all day.. YIKES... and since you are providing transportation I think it also makes it so you don't need to pay a lot.
