I can't understand why we started a War in Iraq in the first place. They had no evidence that they had weapons of mass destruction. Why are we going after Iraq, when we know North Keara is building them. North Keara has missiles that can reach the California borders, isn't this something to be worried about? They even lunched test missiles, but yet nothing is done? What are we going to do, wait until they finally have the technology to put a nuke war head on one of the missiles? Why?

Two reasons.

For Bush to avenge his daddy who was made to look like a fool by Sadam.

An excuse to seize power while diverting money to Cheney's buddies.

It is unlikely at this time that North Korea could reach Japan with a missile. Perhaps the Aleutian Islands.

All the things said about the war starting over the WMDs bought from north korea and other countries is correct, then they were in fact moved to syria. At that time the bush admin realized it was caught with it's pants down and decided to get some oil while they were there- not to mention the famous open season on the terrorists because they jacked a couple of our planes and killed a lot of people with 'em. What bush fails to realize is that those countries teach their children to be terrorists- which means that it'll be a never ending cycle for them. Right now bush is trying to play out his fantasy of international cowboy and doesn't care how many people have to die so he doesn't have to get issued a gun and a passport to go and actually live out his fantasies. I for one think he's nuts and that the man in the yellow hat needs to come get him. The whole thing about "god told me to do it" is just a cop out to try and get his nice newly baptized christian country to go die for him. I think the man's quite screwed in the head- but don't tell him I said that, he'll have the secret service come get me while I'm sleeping.

North Korea has no oil ! Grow up !
Europe exists but we are not paranoid like the USA.
We are quite capable of sorting the World out without you thankyou ! 93% of USA citizens do not even own a passport but you think you know about the World ? You are not even taught Geography at school level .
Get to know the World before owning 25% of it's economy because it it already nearly $2 to a £1 and will get worse for you over the coming years as Europe becomes more economically important.

No war has really any reason. Its only the very small differences of opinion that triggers up the spark and grows into a major war. It is for that reason only the UNO has be constituted but still when the members do not respect this and wage wars. This could be put to an end provided all of us should sincerly think of peace and try to settle our scores by talks only and not a war.

actually Saddam Hussein replaced right into a mass murdering asshole who used to play ball with u . s . a . of america, yet later became a large nuisance. George Bush used all of our positioned up-9/11 hysteria to cajole us to invade Iraq as a fashion to both liberate the Iraqi human beings, and to position in a sparkling Democratic authorities which will help US pursuits. regrettably the warfare replaced into poorly planned and carried out, this is why more advantageous than 4,000 US troops have died, besides as untold numbers of Iraqi civilians. thankfully, we've signed a %. with Iraqi to have our troops withdrawn from Iraq with techniques from 2011, in order to artwork on stabilizing their authorities themselves.

North Korea doesn't have any resources, and they have a million strong army. Fighting them would be difficult, even for the US.

Iraq was weak, and have lots of oil. Now Bush is poking at Iran for its oil. Iran is a member of the NPT and follows all the regulations. Many nuke armed states are not members of the NPT, including Israel.

Iran's military is well armed.

Honestly I think we needed a forum for the war on terrorism, and I don't think Afghanistan was sexy enough. Who really knows. I just hope we can get ourselves out of this mess sooner than later. To be honest with you I don't think we will be out of Iraq in less than 10 years.

Because he broke the conditions of the Armistice of the first Gulf War. Continually.

He also defied all UN mandates while paying bribes to have the French, Germans and Russians protect him. (Not that UN resolutions mean anything, anyway.)

And odd-- Kadaffi's WMD materials included a lot of goodies originally purchased by his buddy Saddam... (some of it manufactured by North Korea, of course.)

Good question. The claim was that we did it based on mis-information. Just in case they head weapons of mass distruction.

Iraq is certainly not the only country who poses this threat.

IT DOES NOT JIVE, MAN.
