Yes absolutely we are supposed to do that as best as we can, the Bible says that Jesus left us a model to follow him closely.(1Peter2:21) Just saying that we believe in Jesus is not enough even though many Claim that is all that is needed to please God but is this really the case?No it is not if it were why then would he have left us a model to follow closely? And he did this in the way we need to pray the way he did not just reciting other prayers but our prayers should come from our hearts, and be just like talking to a good friend this is how Jesus prayed, Jesus also spoke to people with genuine Love and respect toward them and he had pity fopr those that were suffering even thosde of his followers who were slow learnersand kept repeating things that he had already explained to them before and in some cases many times, but Jesus patiently, explained it to them again, he did not become short with them buthe reasoned with them through parables and manu illustrations, since we are sinners, we cannot do better than to follow Jesus example and so we should understand that others just like we do make mistakes and do things wrong and se we shouldtry to help others with kindnes, because isn't that what we want for others to do for us too? I believe it is, so yes follow the Golden rule Jesus did soeven though he was far above in rank than any of those people he dealt with he was kind longsuffering and caring toward them, without losing his cool but always taking the time to teach and help them, never ever did he resort to calling any of them names or in any wayspeaking down to them, but he was patent with themHe was the perfect reflection of His God and Father Jehovah

Jesus said in John, If you love me you will keep my commandments. Sounds like you have a handle on things.

Yes! We are supposed to act like him and show others his love! Yet so many people forget this in the rush of life.

Is it so hard to show that you care???

Yes - but He knows we can never be perfect like He was on this Earth - because we were born into sin, and are given to temptations.

Thats why He commanded us simply to love our neighbour, and not become perfect.
