This is a good question.

An in our sinful condition, education is hard to come by and every thing s so cut and dried.

For dyslexic people that can not fit into the cut and dried mold, we have to educate our self and that takes time [ some get so messed up it is pitiful ], my dad helped me and no one ever knew I was dyslexic and no one ever knew I thought this system sure does have a teaching disability.

He probably wanted us to do it on our own. Like He created people...now go for it people. If He created us with an education, we'd be sort of like puppets, doing and thinking as He wished. God created us with a brain, now it's up to us to put it to use. If God created us with an education already intact, would some feel that God short changed or cheated them because He gave some other people more education (smarter) than He gave them? If we all had the same education maybe everybody would want to be famous Doctors or scientists. There wouldn't be any Jet Pilots, teachers, police, plumbers, etc. etc. etc. If we all had the same education, would anybody really WANT to drive a cab for a living? I guess we don't all have the same education for the same reason we aren't all the same race, skin color, heigth, weight...I could go on, but you get the idea.We are made as our own individual person and it's up to us to make the best of it from there. Hope this helps.

I kind of like it that way. There is a sense of fulfillment with learning things. Discovery makes me feel alive. I like it.
In saying that, I have to say, God did educate Adam and Eve and they in turn educated their children. Cain and Abel brought God an offering. This had to have been taught to them by their parents. There can be a gaining of knowledge over the generations and there is also a loss of knowledge. For example...my grandmother taught me how to spin wool on an oldfashioned spinning wheel. Most women don't know how to do this because we don't need to any longer. We can now go to a store and buy inexpensive clothes to keep ups warm or expensive clothes to doll up.
Other knowledge is gained as society changes. My ancestors didn't know how to download a program or post in a yahoo forum. God did originally teach though. The Bible says that God walked with Adam (before the original sin) in the cool of the day. I wonder what they talked about as they walked along.

There is no God and if you go to school chances are you'll get a sound education, an open mind and make a great contribution to society.
Why would anyone believe in God? That is the question you need to answer.

What data do you think should be placed in the brain from birth? It all knowledge were placed there, than everyone will think just alike without variation. The development of our personalities comes from the data we absorb over time. Beginning at age two, the brain beginning permanently storing data. It takes ten years (+/-) to collect enough data to move into the next step, the development of conceptual thought process. All this is also modified by other developments, such as hormonal levels, in both men and women. This stage doesn't finish until age 24 in women, and age 30 in men.

God created the human brain to absorb 10MBs per second of data with the capacity to last over 10,000 years. Imagine the amount of data to would entail. Imagine having that much data in your brain at birth.

We are being designed to learn, for a very long time.

One final point for those adults who think only a few hours of sleep is fine at night. Night time is when everything you learn during the day is sorted and stored. For day sleeper, like myself, you have to simulate night conditions for the brain to kick in the process that only takes place at night. You should not be getting any less than 7 hours of sleep.

We do start with some education: we know how to breathe, suckle, and eliminate. Almost everything else is learned, and that is the great strength of the human species: it is capable of learning and using logic to solve problems.

He created us with the capability to learn. So that's why we go to school. He did create us with some types of behavior that we use for education, such as the use of our vocal cords and mind together to make language.

For the benefit of educational institutions and for us to utilize our brain power.

First, I don't believe in your God, but....

At birth, we know how to breathe.
We know how to suckle.
We know how to cry.

There are many things that we know how to do, and these are called instinct. It is a programmed knowledge.

The rest, we need to learn on our own. That's what makes us unique. Our interests, combined with our learning is what makes us individuals.

He could have made everyone without any capacity for any learning at all, so be happy for what you have.
