My DR. gave me another drop that is more for allergy. The unbelievible irratition is gone, now I'm down to regualr "pink eye symptoms" Will it go away even if the new drops don't have an antibiotic in it? I can't take this anymore!!!!!!

I thought I had pink eye/allergies earlier this year. (I wasn't sure what it was...)

I used the regular Visine drops which helped a little. A friend of mine gave me her Visine allergy drops and they cleared up my eyes really well.

Do you wear contacts? Do you have contact solution? I also read that gently squirting the solution into your eyes and letting them wash them out helps too. The solution should be fine for your eyes since they're used to clean contacts, which go into your eyes anyway!

Good luck

Try the BABY shampoo. Wet a Q-tip with water then dip it within the shampoo. Wash the higher and diminish rim of your eye and eyelashes. Rinse with a blank hot rainy wash fabric. DON'T go contaminate with Q-guidelines , washcloths, or redip used Q-Tip in shampoo. Do wash each eyes, as a preventive degree, although just one eye is bothering you. This does NOT burn, it's truthfully soothing. Wash two-three instances an afternoon. An ophthalmologist instructed this while I had crimson eye and it particularly helped. If you begin this as quickly as your eyes begin bothering you, you'll be able to transparent it up your self. Don't use Visine style drops, to many chemical compounds and can make matters worse.

Pink eye is a bacterial infection. The best treatment for it is eye drops or eye ointment that have antibiotics in them. If you are allergic one type, then there are others available. The important thing to remember is that the drops may not be comfortable because your eye is inflamed. This is pretty contagious too so if you don't treat it and it goes on for too long, it will spread to the other eye (if hasn't already) and you run the risk of passing it on to the people around you.
