At Airport , boarding status is displayed to the passenger .At that time the coach indicator for the particular flight is displayed either off-pier or on-pier . so what is the meaning of off-pier ? and on-pier ?

I believe you meant coach indicator as plane indicator. In this case, at pier meant that the plane is at the aerobridge, which is the pier. So off pier meant that it is not in position at the aerobridge, or it could meant that you will be boarding at the apron and not from the bridge.
