Chronic tirdeness, I get sleep alright, but from 7-30pm, then from 2am I am up, bright eyed and ready for action, have tried staying up longer, but I just have to get my head down, I then fall asleep, any help would be appreciated.

Different people have various sleeping patterns. Some are owls and awake whilst everyone around them sleeps and vice versa.
If you go to bed at 7.30 pm and wake at 2am, you only get 6 hours of sleep which is less than you should and explains the chronic tiredness.
Look at the following factors:
Are you stressed in any way/ do you have problems that you cannot resolve and that prey on your mind? These have a nasty habit of cropping up in your subconcious in the early hours.
Is your bedroom quiet, adequately ventilated, neither too hot nor too cold?
Are there noises or lights at that time of the night that awake you?
If the answer to all these is no, then you have to look at what you eat during the day. Do you eat enough or too much? Indigestion kicks in if you have gone to bed on a full stomach, but the reverse may be true- you have run out of calories.
I suffer from hypoglycemia which means that I run out of blood sugar at that time . As soon as I wake in the early hours I have a small thermos of milk or drinking chocolate by my bed which I drink, then I read something for twenty minutes or so and the eyelids start feeling heavy and I go back to sleep. If this does not work for you then see your doctor who may be able to give you something that makes you sleep longer without making you fuzzy minded in the morning.
I hope this helps.

You sound like your sleeping pattern is a bit off. Six hours is as much as a lot of people get most nights, but for you, it's happening too early in the evening.
Try going for a nap during the day, or early evening, but get up after 2 hours, then stay up until about 11 o'clock or midnight.
If you do this for two or three days, you should find you're back on track.
If you can't go for a nap during the day, try some cat naps - if you dose off even for a minute or two, you'll be ok to go again for a couple of hours.
Basically do what you can to allow you to stay up until later, which will be difficult if you're up at 2am. Do that for a few days to retrain your sleeping pattern.
Make bedtime a soothing ritual, try having a long bath, read a book, think about only good things, and make sure you're prepared for the following day.
Good luck and sweet dreams!

Could be either or of the first 2 answers, might also be chronic fatique syndrome. You might want to get checked by a dr. to figure out exactly what is wrong.

Yes!!
I used to get this all the time... i started eating more and realized that it was low blood sugar (hypo-somethin or other)... maybe that's what you have?
Do you work out? You could be depleting your energy stores, and that's what's making you so tired and drained
I hope I gave you SOME suggestion

7.30pm is a toddler's bedtime!
Train yourself to go to bed later, gradually. Give yourself time and don't rush it.
Have a snack and do something mentally stimulating. Don't even go near your bedroom until much later.
