im really confused..should i call the cops for this..? will they track the number and tell me, or should i just let it go ?

i think you can call the phone compant to put a tracer on the # (so obviosuly see if they can get the # even tho its private) and after they call you three times you can file a harassment report with the police

If it is a harassing or malicious call (threating, bomb threat, stuff along that lines) call the cops imediatly. The phone company should be able to trace the number. Sometimes its a pain in the ***, getting to talk to the right person. Customer service reps are idiots.
It may be more trouble than its worth. I know as far as when I trace a number, if I dont have the exact time, and date, and as much other info. It can take hours. No tellin how long you would be talkin to customer service or the police for either.

Sign up for Anonymous Call Rejection with your phone company. It's free. The person will have to unblock their number in order for the call to go through.

Don't call the cops unless someone calls and threatens you. Just call your phone company and they will answer all your questions.
