I am thinking about purchasing a bus to convert into a R'V. The only reason I would consider doing this is if I had control over the interior design of the bus. Does anyone know what restrictions (if any) I would have in different areas of the bus (front vs rear.) Thanks

By the text of your question, looks like you want to do a "Bus to RV" conversion? That would make sense. RV to bus....maybe not.

I had a friend from high school who used to follow the Grateful Dead around to all their shows and sell t-shirts. He and his tribe had an old hippie bus and it had toilet and bunks and lots of lockers. No shower though....of course, they didn't shower very often anyway!

A quick Yahoo search turned up the links below.

On a project like this, you really need to plan it well. Even if you do all the construction very professionally, poor planning will ruin the final product.

Buy a used r.v. it's way cheaper than to convert it yourself. There needs to be at least 3 holding tanks, water heater, electrical converter and many other options too numerous to mention. It is almost cost prohibitive.
