Well, sadly, it probably has to do with all the racism in the world and what everyone would think if a white guy and a black girl dated. They probably just want to avoid all the negativity they would get from the ignorant people.

It could be a combination of "going against the norm" and not being decisive or brave enough to make a move. Frankly, I feel sorry for them because they're missing out; they're eliminating a group of completely eligible women.
Maybe they haven't seen the combination in action. When people see my husband and I, what they see first are two people who look really happy. The fact that I'm black and he's white is even icing on the cake for some. It proves that love is love, regardless of the package it comes in.
You could either:
1. Make the first move and ask them out, or
2. Wait for a man (of any race / background) to man-up and ask you out. If they aren't brave enough to be more than friends, even when the attraction is obvious, they'll be lacking confidence in other areas too.

I would say it's the gap in heritage. The attraction is there but the ability to comfortably cross over the differences in heritage are unknown to us white men. We have no ethnic bonds. I have asked black men in the past, why they date white females. They normally reply that they are easy. Well if that is true then that makes black females hard to get. I don't think it is true. If you are interested in a white male, then break the ice. Let him know. He will then stop thinking about the gap in heritage and start thinking about other things that men think about,

As a white male who lives and goes to college in a half and half environment I myself have been hit on by a few black girls and have been reluctant. The truth is that the ones that do hit on me I am mostly unnatracted to, not saying that you arent attractive, and even when I am I think to myself "How could I compare to her usual black boyfriends, and this chick probly just likes me because I am white and she thinks I have money". Just dont come across as too ghetto, have some class, and boost that white boys ego so he feels like you really want him and he might just give in, dont give up.

i've got surely studied data and likely, this might technically be a skewed pattern. Seeing as you have been traveling in a single place and basically noting the human beings you observed as you walked around, that may not an excellent remark. asserting that, I even have observed that there are a number of black male/white woman relationships, and it must be because of the fact of psychological motives, yet on the instant, somewhat interior the greater youthful era (as i'm area of it and spot it continuously), relationships are much less centred on a guy or woman's race and greater on who he/she is. One reason i've got not considered suggested yet could properly be oftentimes used cultures. It impacts a brilliant number of our lives and yet we do not rather think of it does. be conscious all the black rappers and musicians accessible in recent times? what proportion followers they have? possibly the human beings who're maximum vulnerable to stay with those traits experience that black adult males are eye-catching because of the fact oftentimes used subculture says they are. inspite of each thing, they are "so warm!"

I've often wondered the same thing, but i figure if they were REALLY intrested then thy'd pursue it! Some are probablt just hesitant. . . . plus hell at the end of the day they are still just GUYS, and no matter the color of their skin some guys will just not pursue a woman, regardless of the fact that they are obviously attracted to the girl!

IN my city which is New York, if you are white dating a black chick you get reverse racism from the blacks. But it is perfectly fine for a white girl to date a black guy.
It is very real. I'm with this black chick I have known for a year now.

Unfortunately allot of parents would disapprove and more grandparents even still. I see nothing wrong with it. I have a black woman that works in my office and we go out to lunch all the time. Now she is married, has two kids, and is about 20yrs my senior. You see the looks and the stairs that we get from others. It always reminds me of how much further we still have to go.

I've dated 2 black women.
They were both funny, intelligent, sensual, great to be around. Nice relationships, both.
I hold back because I feel like black guys, who are often so smooth in chatting up women, make me think "aw, she's heard it all. Even if I say "how's the weather up there on the 43rd floor" or "hi, i'm ben." or "hey you're wearing New Orleans Saints gloves. Are you a fan?" she's going to think "this stupid honky is trying to chat me up." So I just shut up and wait for when it won't seem forced if i talk to her.
stupid as it is, there's my reason. but i find slender but curvy, educated, cultured, intelligent black women to be extremely good looking, sexy, bright, funny, caring women.
