Not if you have the financial means to raise them all.

My parents had four of us, and we're one big happy family.

My dh and I have 6 kids, which range in age from 15 to 4. Looking back I can't imagine having less and quite frankly would like to have one more.

There are a few things to consider.. Do you have the time, energy and patience for a bunch of kids? Can you afford to stay at home and care for the children? Can you afford to take care of them? Can you afford to retire with so many kids? If you are thinking of college how will you pay for it.

Luckily, we were able to answer yes to all of these questions. We love them all and try to make them feel as if they are individuals instead of just 1 of 6. Trust me, loving them is the easiest part.

Good Luck!

For some maybe, I think it depends on the individual. I have four and sometimes its frustrating, but at the same time it can be alot of fun. Its not always possible to watch them every sec or make everone happy but I have alot of help around the house. Anyway I love my kids and I wouldnt trade them for anything.

well it depends on the reason why the person has four kids. If they just love kids and like a big family then it is cool, but if they are trying to fill a void in their lives then it is wrong.

2X too many for me, I can't speak for you. My parents did well with 4 .
I think it depends on the parents and how much they can afford money and TIME. You would have to think about their future and how much you can afford to put away for education, etc.

If you can believe this... we have neighbours who have 7 kids, they are all on the Honor roll at school, they are a wonderful family! so it can be done and DONE VERY WELL

What ever floats your boat, If you want 4 and have all of the wrinkles worked out go for it! Just remember that your kids are our future, and you want to raise them right.

I have four children :) Raising my beautiful babies has its moments but the unconditional love/cuddles/fun/hilarious memories/bond etc far outweighs that. I wouldn't change it for the world, the decision to have four kids is up to the people involved. Have a great christmas :)

It's not too much if you choose to love them and treat them with respect. If your finances can handle it as they have lots things they need. If you're in a committed relationship and both of you love kids and are committed to raising a healthy, happy family.

No dear not at all. I think the more the merrier. So long as you can care for them properly and you are able to handle them..i say have five! One day when you are old and gray and you hear the chatter of your grandchildren..you eyes will be smiling and you will know..the answer to your question.

why would having 4 kids be too much? as long as you can care for them, afford them, to clothe them, then no, its not too much..i love kids, but only have 1..would have liked more though..
