Sweetheart, he is trying to see if he can still get in your pants, he is testing the waters. If you are pathetic, you will take him back. Cupcake, ignore him and move one because maybe he has not.

from marriage or just going out for a long time?. it is a common sign of loss of a friendship to go thru withdrawal symptoms. you get used to each other. you cant go forward you start to compare so yea they will miss ya. the sign you should be looking for how do you feel? do you feel you prematurely ended it? unresolved? not sure if you waited where would it have taken you? and if it was mnore serious is that something of both your wishes? it could mean they miss your friendship no doubt. it is hard they arent ready to end it of all time. sad.the relationship must have been good for someone to miss it .. yea? they are leaving it in your hands now.. they told you how they feel.. FEEL is key word here

depends on why he/she became an ex. what has changed, is this person missing the things you used to do for him/her, missing things you did around the house, what?

IT REALLY DEPEND ON WHAT YOU WANT OUT OF WHAT HE
IS SAVING IF YOU BOTH LEFT THE SITUATION ON GOOD TERMS THEN IT VERY NORMAL FOR HIM TO MISS YOU,
BEING AROUND. ESPECIALLY IF YOU WERE TOGETHER
FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME. BUT DONT MAKE IT
ANYTHING UNLESS YOU WANT SOMETHING MORE.
