Find new friends. These people are obviously so wrapped up in seeing the surface of people that they are shallow and crass, and you aren't that way. She must be a very nice person, and you are one of those rare people who goes beyond mere looks to see the beauty in someone, Kudos to you Man. It is said, "that you don't love a woman because she is beautiful, that she is beautiful because you love her". True friends are rare to find, and most people are too self centred and selfish to see beyond the end of their own noses. Good Luck and God Bless the two of you.

Your friends are probably just joking. But if you feel that you want to defend her, I think the best way to defend is to say nothing at all--kinda ignore the whole comment completely.
Most people that make this kind of comment expect reactions from others, so if you give them none, they will stop since there is no fun involved.

It depends if all three of you guys are friends I once had a friend who talked about every single person and later realized she was insecure. When a person consistently talks about someone its a reflection of how they feel of themselves.Put her on the spot and ask her why does she think that.........And just a word of advice if she does it to this friend does she do it to you.....

come back with a snappy comeback or change the subject ....a couple of boys pick on me and i told them they looked like chicks and to stop using lip stick and start using a glue stick....... well it stopped them and i never heard from them again..........another option is to lose the insulting friend

Tell your friends that you like her and they shouldn't say mean stuff about how she looks.
And if that doesn't work and they make fun of you, then find new friends.

Tell them if they have nothing nice to say don't say nothing at all...and say it like your talking to a child..cause that is a childish thing to say, tell them to grow up...
