I am going to the gym daily and running on the treadmill and then using the bike or stair master. If i do this for an hour a day and burn about 200 + calories a day and watch what I eat. Do you think it would be possible to maybe lose some weight by Christmas? I'm still young so my mom and boyfriend both said I would lose my weight fast especially since I gained in fast?

Anyone can drop weight and even drop it fast. The key is to do so in a healthy way, to insure you keep it off.
If you are looking to drop 5, 10 or even 15 pounds in as little as 2 to 3 weeks, cut out the carbs. It all comes down to how much you have to lose.
The more you weigh, the more weight you will drop in shorter time. That is because the first pounds of weightloss is usually water.

Avoid the "whites": sugar, flour, rice, spuds. Drink 64 ounces of water a day. Yeah, it's alot but it will clean you out. If you must have rice, make it wild or brown. If you can't resist Mom's mashed pots, have ONE scoop. NO more.
No desserts. No ice cream. No holiday chocolates. No cookies.

A diet rich in leafy greens and lean meats will increase the weight loss because it's nutrients your body will use and process. Carbs, especially high stratch foods, sit in your system and are the last to be processed everyday. These startches then turn to sugar, in turn become fat.

Keep the soda to a minimum. One can a day, if you must. And BELIEVE ME...make it diet soda.

The truth is very, very few people can keep up with this strict diet in "real life". That is why the weight loss on extreme carb-free diets usually don't work. I am a prime example. Lost about 45 pounds doing the low-carb thing, only to pack on about 25 of it once I relaxed with the dieting and started to enjoy way to much pasta, chocolate, etc. It's about will power, really.
So to keep it off, keep up the exercise, avoid fast food, regular soda's and booze. And don't make the spuds and such staples in your diet. By no means deny yourself for life, just enjoy them in moderation.

So after all this, I guess the key to quick weightloss...no carbs. You will be amazed. I dropped 6 pounds my first week and a half. I know it won't last unless I change my overall thinking and game plan, but it gave me a start. It's all up to me to maintain.

It is possible to lose a decent amount of weight with an extreme diet and a lot of exercise. You need to consume a lot of protein and do some basic strength training to maintain what muscle you have. You can do a search for the velocity diet, which is extreme and geared towards men, but you could create your own protein shake diet for your needs and go from there. If you start right now, and stick to it, you could easily lose 10 pounds by xmas (assuming you are overweight to begin with).

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!
