Half a grapefruit provides more than 50 percent of the adult Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) of vitamin C; it also has 325mg of potassium, 25mcg (micrograms) of folate, 40mg of calcium, and l mg of iron. The pink and red varieties are high in beta carotene, an antioxidant that the body converts to vitamin A.
A cup of unsweetened grapefruit juice has 95mg of vitamin C, more than 150 percent of the RDA, and most of the other nutrients found in the fresh fruit.

I was sent a huge case of grapefruit recently and I eat one grapefruit a day. I am really enjoying this. The Pharmacist says that it will affect some meds, so people should check this. It has vitamin C and fiber! I may use the peelings to make candy. Best of luck to you!!

I know a dude who drinks a small glass of Grapefruit juice after every meal...says it keeps him fit. He's still a fat pig however.
It is an excellent source of vitamin C and other happy horseshit.

it is a citrus fruit so excellent source of vitamin C
all things should be consumed in moderation. too much citrus can give you canker sores in your mouth
