At a party a couple nights ago, after too much to drink, i ended up sleeping with a friend. actualyl more like an acquaintance. we have class together, in a small major together, and have some mutual friends. i would like to continue seeing him, but i really dont want anything serious. i would prefer to just keep up the fun we had that night. should i mention it to him, or just leave the whole thing along?

Talk to him about it but make sure he knows that you want no strings just casual sex so that he knows not to take it where you don't want to go. Keep the rules at that just casual sex and no emotional attachements so you'll both know what to expect.

The best hump buddies i've had are the ones who knew that we were just in it for fun. No commitments just sex between friends. It is possible to have sex with someone and not have romantic feelings for them as long as you don't allow yourself to by setting the ground rules.

I'm going to give you the little old lady answer:

1. Leave it alone.

2. Don't drink too much then have sex with acquaintances (or anyone for that matter). Don't care so little about yourself that you don't think about the health risks involved in a one-nighter. You don't know where his body has been.

3. We all say we want to keep it casual, but the truth is that we're looking to make a connection with someone on some level. You're also assuming that he wants to see you again, or that he's interested in a casual relationship. It sounds like you both travel in the same small circle. If something goes wrong, it could get to be uncomfortable.

I've done the casual sex / hook up thing. I've found it to be one of the most unsatisfying and least fulfilling experiences I've ever had. Do it enough times, make it a lifestyle choice and you'll wind up feeling unbelievably hollow.

If you do go to bars, offer your phone number if you happen to come across a guy who actually seems genuine and decent. He can call you if he is interested in a date and you can figure out what kind of guy he is from there. It is possible to meet a decent guy at a bar, after all you are a decent girl at a bar. I do agree with you 100% that it isn't the best place to meet a decent guy. House parties are a much better place to meet eligible men. There are recreational leagues in most cities, and it's a great place to meet guys. There are meetups in every city as well and it is another place to meet men while enjoying your hobby. Lastly, if you're religious, church offers young adults, and if you're in school there are clubs that you can join.

Just tell him straight up that you had fun dat night and you want him to be ya "friend wit benefits", NO STRAIGHT MAN will turn down that offer, trust me...unless he's gay or way too good for you....but yes, a one night stand can turn into a casual sex relationship, thats how most start anyways....holla!

I wouldn't expect it to turn into a successful long term relationship but I'd expect it could be a casual friends with benefits relationship. Just be careful that he doesn't eventually want more from you or vice versa.

just leave the whole thing along.. let your action show that you just want some fun and no serious commitment involve.

he is gonna be the one that will quickly answer this question not you, because most men decide if they will see you again judging by how quick they got you in bed drunk or no drunk you are the one who will make him decide and thats not all, just wait til he tells all of his friends who will be glad to help him also.....

this is called friends with benefits, a lot of people love it. Just make sure you are safe about it, you don't wanna catch anything.

Remember... it takes two to tango. Mention it, if he's not feeling comfy bout that. Leave it as it is.

why not. All he can say is no. Then atleast you will know instid of keep thinking about it. Since its not a close friend it shouldn't hurt to bad if he does say no.
