Good luck! Pit Bulls are very hard to find. Not to mention, if and when you do find one, you'll need to get insurance specifically for any damages they cause. I don't know of any homeowner's policy that covers them, and that can be very expensive. Also, they are on the vicious animal list and are illegal in several states. If it's not illegal in your state, then you will still need to register with the authorities. Why are you so bent on getting a dog that's known to be agressive? (I'm not saying they all, or even most, are, but legislation has labeled them as such) If you want a guard dog, there are other breeds that are more suited for the job with a lot less headache. Not to mention, whenever you buy a pup, it's a good idea to see what the parents' personalities are like. How can you do that from another state? Not a good idea.

Good Luck to you!

why do you have a 2 week previous domestic dog ?? Do you have the mummy to boot or something ?? Or did you thieve this domestic dog . Craigslist does no longer sell advertising of animals - purely rehoming . maximum animals on Craigslist you may get w/ all photos &/or kennel for $one hundred fifty . So we are looking approximately $25 - $50 to a moron who's incredibly going to take a stolen domestic dog . Why do no longer you pass to craiglist and see the cost of this Overbreed canines - maximum the time loose !!!!

Go on petfinder.com there are plenty and it is a rescue web site. But, make sure to educate yourself on Pitt bulls they can be great dogs. But, being a Pitt bull owner carries with it more responsibility than most dog breeds.

www.puppyfind.com

you can browse through many puppies..and they give you a price.

my mom got our pup from there and i recommend the sight..but before you get the dog look into the owners history.

or go to your local animal shelter//news paper

I'll also second the Petfinder search. You can also check out www.pbrc.net for pitties in your area too. :)
