Im taking the biggest exam of my life on Tuesday and the wayI see it, there's a 60% chance Ill pass, and 40% chance I wont, thats the way Im feeling. The pressure to pass is so big, if I pass I get to go to a state college in January, if I dont I have to wait 8 more months, take this class again, and I just feel so nervous. I dont know how Ill be able to get to sleep, All Ive been doing is studying since Thursday, and Ive just been stressed out and worried at the same time. What can I do to help calm myself down? I've never been this stressed out, and never really felt I had a problem with stress.

Im just scared/stressed/tired/worried. What can I do to calm down...? :(

Prepare yourself by studying the best you can, take breaks to rest, exercise, watch TV, etc.
Breathe slowly, take chamomille tea to calm down (put 3 bags in one cup of boiling water and let them stand for 5 minutes).
Think that if you fail the test, it is not the end of the world! You'll wait another 8 months, so what?
You can only do the best you can, so don't be too hard on yourself.
Good luck!

Just tell yourself it will be okay. You've been studying- you should be fine! I'm sure your test is not as bad as you think it is.
Take the time to sit calmly and breathe.
Also- you know, what happens is going to happen whether you are stressed or not, right? If you look at it that way you shouldn't be worried because you've done all you can by studying. Whatever the outcome is- it was fated to be so you may as well not stress about something you can't change.
YOU WILL BE OKAY!

If you'll treat the effort to deeply relax as seriously as you have studying and testing, you'll be fine.
It's hard to relax, even when you know how. Use techniques you know about and focus on putting your mind elsewhere.

Periodically (between now & test) visualize yourself passing the test with confidence. Use all your senses while doing visualization: hear paper rustling, chairs squeaking, voices whispering, feet tapping; see the kids writing all around you, the teacher walking or sitting, the lights in the room, your hands at your desk; smell the air going from outside to inside the classroom, the pencil shavings, somebody's shampoo scent; feel the initial tension fade away as you compose yourself, feel the sensation of the chair under your bum, the pencil in your hand. During all this, you say to yourself "My memory is bringing all answers to the forefront of my mind" "I am comfortable passing this test" "I am at ease with knowing that the answers are inside me" " I enjoy testing because I know the answers". All positive statements will be in your subconscious and ready to influence you when the time is right.
You can do it - quit panicking, breathe deep and slow, and get busy visualizing.

Try not thinking about the test, you've studied pretty hard so you know everything. Stay positive, tell yourself that you will do just fine, your going to pass the test, don't go thinking anything negative that will just make you feel more nervous. Go listen to some music or do something you think will calm you. Don't worry you will do fine, don't think about it to much. BE OPTIMISTIC.

hey.. chap! relax. there's nothing there for you to worry about. sitting for a major exam doesn't mean you should stress yourself up to a level in which you'll collapse soon. since your studying session is over, all you have to do now is sit back and recollect everything you've studied. this is not the time to overload yourself with all the studying. because, for all you know, the last minute studying might cause you to forget everything you've studied and resulting in you blacking-out in the exam hall. i just sat for a major exam myself and blacked out because of the last minute studying. so, relax mate! everything's gonna be just fine.
mail me when you're done with the exam!
