I was talking to one of my guy friends(r) about his friend (s) who i like.
Well (r) asked (s) if he liked me. He said that he likes me as a friend and that he just wants to be friends.
Does that mean i will never have a chance to date him or tell him myself that i like him?
I didnt tell (r) to ask him but he was talking to (s) about me and popped the question if he liked me.
I want to tell him i like him but i dont think i ever can now.........

It really could mean anything. He may just not want to be involved with a girlfriend right now. Otherwise if he does know how you feel (and knows he wont be pressed to feel a certain way), he might think about it differently. Things can change once more info is out. Otherwise leave it at friendship, b/c then he is still close to you.

Sometimes it is good to be friends first. Don't say anything yet, just hang out together in a group. This will give him a chance to get to know you better, and perhaps see you in a different light. Of course, after hanging around with him a while you may find that he isn't quite the catch that you thought he was.

just try to move on. or u can talk to him more and get to know him better so u two can be better friends

i'd just go for it, tell him, what u got to loose? big deal he says no. u like him that much, tell him. dont go on thinking what if?
