You might be allergic to salicylates, found in cucumbers and melons. I would avoid eating them, and any other high salicylate foods, and aspirin:

Talk to your doctor and/ro see an allergist.

Sounds to me like you're allergic to them... (is it only when you eat them, or perhaps you're drinking something at the same time, and didn't account for that...or even your lip gloss/chapstick...) it would be a good idea to lay off the cucumbers and watermelon for now, and see an allergist. Some allergies start out small, but if not recognized or simply ignored, they could become truly dangerous.
I had similar problems with shellfish..I used to eat them as a kid, and get an upset stomach (which we attributed to them having gone bad, or a stomach bug)...it was when I was 15 that eating a piece of lobster sent me to the emergency room, ending up with an epinephrine shot...but it could have killed me.
You can never be too careful with your health. It'd be a good idea to see your doctor.

I do not know what is in these items to cause it - but yes, it does sound like an allergy. If I were you, I would stop eating them. Allergies can start out slight, and eventually get really bad - the more your body rejects them, the worse the reaction can be.

Sounds like a definate allergy as this does not happen to the normal person. Get a referal to an allergist and get tested for allergies and food allergies before something serious happens to you.

This sounds like an allergic reaction. Becareful when you eat these because your reaction may become more severe. Not all allergic reactions occur the first time, they build up and the reaction gets worse.

Its a mild allergy, as long as your lips arnt swelling up real bad, or going numb, I wouldnt worry. My lips tingle whenever I eat bananas, Lol.

you are allergic to them, it doesn't matter whats in them, your body doesn't want it. Try eating a melon that isn't quite ripe and see if it still happens. With the cucumber I can't help you except you might want to specifically try different varieties.
