i was just wondering why the Aviation Alert is HIGH, if everyone is saying that their probly wont be another terrorist attack in airports. so if u could tell me why its so HIGH that would be great. Thanx!!

Is this a terrorism alert because i have recieved an alert there is an increase in solar activity i.e. solar flares ect. There have been reports of radio, electronic, and computer failure for an electro magnetic field. Don't worry its still safe to fly we were warned of this so we can avoid it it pops up in the same spots every 11 years

The aviation alert is always high. It has been since about June i believe, and simply means increased security measures are in effect.

It is just because there are a lot of people flying this time of year & they want to keep people altert & keep them looking out for suspicious stuff & people....
After the holidays it will go back down...
