Me and my gf have been dating for a year and a half now and have recently broken up. she is 20 and i am 21. She told me when we first started dating that she had been in an a abusive relationship a couple of years back and had never gotten help for what she went thru. Be4 we broke up we had been fighting alot. She had also told me that she cant handle arguments that well becuz of what she went thru in her abusive relationship. The reason y we broke up is because she had decided to talk to a counsoler and get help for what she went thru. She thinks that going to counseling for this and being in a relationship at the same time would be too hard. She still loves me and says that when all this is done and over with, she wants to get back together with me. Do you think she'll come back???

Yeah, just be supportive of her and give her time to resolve the issues from her past that were never properly addressed before. Even if you don't get back together, at least she will know that she has someone who cares for her well-being and probably someone she can trust. It's likely that once she comes to terms with what happened in the past, she'll be back.

Yeah, she'll come back. But you need to visit her often and treat her with utmost respect. Buy her flowers and give them to her with some nice chocolates. Just because she's going to a conselor doesn't mean she should break up with u forever. U can even ask to go to counseling with her...if she luvs u, u can both get help on how to behave and act to maintain a happy relationship. And if she really cares about you, she'll be absolutely delighted that you care enough to go to counseling with her.

I think she will get back together with you. She basically needs to get over the past and realize she can get through the future, even with you. Right now she needs to get through this part by herself. She loves you, yes that's true. If you've been nothing but good to her you won't have any problems.

i think its a good possibility. she needs to get help and deal with what she went through without any other worries right now. after she's gotten thru it, i do think she will come back to you. if you really like her just be patient.
