i know this probably sounds gross but the hat is making your forehead sweat more. try using stridex pads. they work really good for me and are really cheap at target and other pharmacies. also i find that nutregeonas {sp?} has VERY good facial washes that you should use after work everyday.if nothing works then i suggest seeing your dermatologist.he should know the best cure if all else fails

good luck!

Your acne is not caused by the hat but if it traps dirt and oil and it can increase your acne. You need to leave off the makeup until the acne clears up some as the makeup helps clog your pores so the dirt and oil get trapped. Since the acne is really bad you may want to consider seeing the doc for antibiotic treatment to help clear it up. Also if you look around on the web you should be able to find the Proactive pretty reasonable in price. Ebay is an excellant place to buy things like that brand new. Also I would not use the microderabrasion product so often as it could be too harsh on your face and making things work. Use a mild soap and water and pat your skin dry.

I used to work at a fast food place and had to wear a hat. I used to have bad acne on my forehead. It took me about three years after I quit that place to get my acne cleared up. You're hat absorbs sweat and it keeps your skin from breathing, therefore buildup occurs and you get acne. I would wash your hat every week or so, if you can. You can also get those acne pads and go to the bathroom and clean your face om your break or something.

As for products you can use. I found that the acne Avon products called: Tru-Pore-fection does a good job as keeping acne under control. I use the Avon products in the morning and a natural remedy at night. At night, I put some apple cider vingegar on a cottonball and rub over your face. That combo seems to work well for me. If you get any irritation from the vinegar, try lemon juice. The natural acids from the vinegar and lemon juice helps clear up acne. I hope this helps.

Yes, your hat can cause the acne because it is pressing up against your skin, causing the pores to not only clog, but to also get a lot of bacteria in there.
As far as getting a good cleansing product - you're going to have to shell out a little bit of money. The main thing you want to use is something with 10% Benzoyle Peroxide - the good news is that you can usually by something over the counter (Clean & Clear Continuous Control Acne Cleaner has 10% in it)

I'm afraid that some person or persons have been giving you some really bad advice re acne. You have to take a step back and ask yourself. "How is it that the wearing of a simple hat is irritating my acne?" Let's address the root cause of the irritation, AND THE ACNE! The solution is: Nutrition and physical activity. - First, the condition of your skin. Let's improve it: Start eating fresh (not canned) pineapple. Slice one up and snack on it. You should be eating one whole pineapple every two days. Do this for a couple weeks and you'll notice a substantial, SUBSTANTIAL improvement in the quality of your skin. Pineapple contains a lot of nutrients that positively effect your body (inside and out). - While drinking water, juice, etc. squeeze the juice of a fresh (not bottled) lemon or lime into it. This will give you a great shot of vitamin C, which also has a long list of positive nutritional effects. In addition to helping your skin revitalize collagen, it will increase your energy level and boost your immune system. - Next, eat more complex proteins. I'm talking beef, veal, pork, lamb. NOT CHICKEN. These meats contain many amino acids needed to regenerate muscles, skin and energy! Amino acids are vital and most cannot be gotten from non-meat sources. - Start taking Omega-3 supplements every day. These contain "good" oils that are not only good for your skin, they are good for your mood and attention span as well. - Start taking oil-based vitamin E (1000 IU) and 300 MG of Selenium every three days. Vitamin E has a long track record of revitalizing skin. - Start engaging in at least 30 to 60 minutes of intense aerobic activity every day. That means running, bicycling, elliptical machines or following a TV-based aerobic exercise program. Fast-motion exercise that causes you to break a heavy sweat. Sweating is the way the human skin rids itself of toxins. This will also do something very interesting to your sleep pattern. You will start sleeping fewer hours, BUT the quality of your sleep will improve. Your energy level and mood will improve. So, start doing 30 to 60 minutes of intense aerobic exercise every day. - if you are using them, STOP using special soaps and scrubs for your acne. You can use Ivory, Dial, or any other regular soap. The human skin on a properly-fed human body is resiliant and not sensitive! Save your money and take your friends out for a few beers, chicken wings and pizza to celebrate your newly re-generated great skin.

You can wear a wide brimmed hat, like a large sun hat, or a cowboy hat, and wear it tilted back off your forehead, so that the band sits along your hair line, and the shadow falls over your face.
