I've been miserable for 6 months now because my girlfriend and I broke up, things were just not working out and now she is ready to get back together...I would love to do that although I'm terrified if I get back into a relationship with her I will be miserable because of all the complications, IE she had sex with other people why we were apart, She was my first love whom I lost my virginity too and In a way I feel like I should date other people before I end up marrying, (I know this sounds selfish but you are married your whole life so I want to make sure its the right person, Im only 21). Should I give it time and see what happens, go out and date around? Should I just move on and forget about it? Or should I suck it up and get back together with her...I feel like its damned if you do damned if you dont..

the same thing happend with my ex bf, he cheated and i had to leave him to let him know that it could never happen again. we were so in love, we were inseperable and together for years. so anyway i came back home and we got back together but we faught alot and kept bringing up subjects that we agreed we wouldnt talk about because they were in the past and we were starting over. i moved out but we were supposed to be getting space from each outer and he slept with someone then i did and we just constantly tried to hurt each other trying to outdo each other. finally we had hurt each other too much and we burnt each others trust and broke each others hearts. now we barely speak, he was my first love and i always will love him. we both have new partners now but it still hurts to think of what we through away. we had so many plans for our future and now we can never take back all the hurt, so please be verry careful and i hope you make the right decision.

tell her you are confused and would like to take it slowly.tell her you want to be with her and have missed her terribly but the problems you two had happened for a reason and to dive back in full throttle may cause the same problems to happen again.tell her your fears about not having played the field enough to know if she is what you truly want.It may seem hard but laying it all out on the table with honesty is the best way to get where you want to be

Well just think if you got married to her, and you had two kids with her and with no reason at all she wants out...of the marriage or another break. This could happen so maybe it would be best to just leave...her...and move on...sounds like she plays games..
