Home Depot has a Disney line, so that's a good place to start. Also check out www.disneyshopping.com It's got a lot of great items and you can there all always coupons or discounts of one time or another. Also take a walk through AC Moore's, I seem to remember some good Disney Princess decorative accents.

Does she like the Disney Princesses? There is bedding with that theme. Plus, I've seen a commercial on tv for 3 Day Blinds, I think, that shows Disney Princess window shades.

If you didn't want to go w/that, you could just do it in your child's favorite colors. Throw pillows, a little rug, lamp all in coordinating shades of a certain color, or contrasting ones.

Have fun! You sound like a caring parent!

Depending on what she likes, start with one item or character whether it be on a comforter, or a pillow, or even a doll. Then, are you artistically inclined? Maybe paint her room one color and then freehand the character on the wall like a mural? Tehre are also kits fo rmurals available. The key is to start with one item, then choose things that coordinate with that one item, it should fall right into place.

A Cottage Garden feel might be cute. Plaids of pink and light green, with florals, white furniture, maybe some latice, and floral arangments, it also depends on the girls personality maybe she needs something more adventures, like a enchanted castle theme, with nights, princess, and dragons, or a woodland theme, with trees, and creatures.
