I have had a swollen lymph node behind my ear for 3 months. It is firm and unmovable. It feels like a bone it is so hard yet it is not painful. I have had no signs of infection. I have had one strange thing that seemed to occur around the time I noticed the lymph node. My right foot, the same side the node is on, has an odd sensitivity when the top is brushed. It radiates down through the toe. This sensation is only strange feeling, not painful either.

Only a doctor can tell after a thorough checkup. Don't depend on Yahoo answers for this. Better visit a doctor asap.

How do you even know for sure it is a lymph node that is swollen? Have you been to the doctor and he/she confirmed this? I'm assuming no because you would have been treated for it.

You need to see a doctor, why on earth you have waited for three months is totally beyond me - you should know that if in fact it is a lymph node that is so swollen it feels like bone - that something could be seriously wrong.

Get off the computer and get to the doctor immediately.

You have really waited too long. Get to a doctor, when lymph nodes stay swollen it is something to be concerned about. Good Luck.

You went to the doctor right? No, you didn't........why on earth not, you wouldn't be aware of every possible infection, all the more reason to consult a physician.....not get your butt to a doctor so they can see if it is really a lymph node or something else.
