Here is a summary of the situation.
My ex and I were together for three years and the first half was great but it soon got bad and we split so the last half was an off and on thing. We both had others during that time but we kept going back to each other and we both agreed that we would still love each other forever but we just weren't working. Well it has been a few months since the last time we talked and that was in anger. I went back to visit my family and friends and found out that she still continues to talk about me on a daily basis with my friends about how she still cares about me and she has been tring to say I quit college to search for her. I have not quit college or tried to make contact with here and am currently with another lady. Why would she still keep talking about me and what does that mean?

First of all, you don't KNOW that she actually said that because you got the story second hand. I'm not saying your friends lie, but usually stories aren't accurate when they get passed along... In any case, she is either still hung up on you and hasn't moved on, or she spent so much time with you that you are still not worked out of her system. Just pass along to other people the TRUTH about how you have been doing and how you spend your time. THAT should officially clear the air.

U both seem to have a healthy respect for eachother, but do not seem to get together as a couple.
I could be wrong.
1St i'll suggest to asking her straight forward if she would like to come back to u.
Whatever she answers u have to take that & believe it.
U cannot live in a world of make believe & live on what one person said.
U cannot say 3yrs ago a tree was perfect - in height, width, with the right amount of leaves, branches & flowers. & now it is not right & showing only branches with no leaves & no flowers. My friends told me that the tree was perfect 3yrs ago & I really want to see the tree as if it were 3yrs ago.
Its not possible. What was 3yrs ago has gone. Much water has flown under the bridge.
It could be the same if she wants & it could not be the same if she wants.----------U gotta ask her buddy.

If she continues to talk about you on a daily basis she has clearly not gotten over you yet. The good news is that you are. And if you are happy with your current relationship she needs to move on.
