There is a German holiday cookie called Lebkuchen. They are softer than ginger snaps, but a little spicy like that and with icing on them. They are sooooo good with tea or spiced cider!

I love gingerbread cookie, but my mom makes some awsome rum balls for xmas so I'm sure if thr can't be considered as a cookie though.
