Another sign is if you ask them a question, they will try to deny it or avoid the subject before actually confessing or lying. Also, some people create this weird silence before responding. Well gal, i don't really think that you can honestly tell that someone is lying. but i know that if someone, like you said, cant look you in the eye that isn't always a sure sign. some ppl are just shy or have bad communication skills. If you feel in your heart that the things that someone is saying just done add up or you know different then you can pretty much figure that its not true.
