im a little nervous. im 17 and im think im crushing on this 16 yr old girl. She is super sweet and beautiful even though she thinks she is not. I like her a lot...but i cant because she is someone that i cant like. i stay up talking to her all night and i find myself thinking about her quite a lot. i dont know if it is "love". i dont want to believe that it is. we played basketball yesterday and even though she pretended to be a girly girl...she was super cute. she was scared of getting the ball and she tried to guard me. it was cute. we both fell asleep in the living room...and i saw her smiling in her sleep. it was adorable. she has a great smile that can light up anyones day. she isnt just the typical giirl, she loves horror movies over the typical chick flick. i dont know if it is love?? but she lights up my day whenever she is around..and i dont see her that much. what should be my diagnose.

I too hesitate to use the term 'love' as it is abused and misused far too often. Its meaning has become so diluted that people seem to lose track of what true love (not infatuation or lust) really is. For you, I'd say you're in the category where you are very strongly attracted to her but not in love, at least not yet. You have the potential for your feelings to turn into love, but it would require her returning your feelings.
If she doesn't return your feelings and never will (for whatever reason) I'd recommend that you try to cool off your feelings before they get to haunting you and putting you through more pain that you'd ever need to feel. But if she does return your feelings, play it slow and don't suddenly heap a flood of emotions onto her. While it might be nice to hear that the person she likes really likes her back, it could be quite intimidating (and a bit creepy) if you suddenly used the "I love you" line , or some other line with a similar impact.
It's good to hear that you're cautious about the use of the word 'love', as it shows a healthy level of emotional maturity. Luckily for you, I believe there's a chance for something to happen between the two of you. Don't push too hard, but at least test the waters with pursuing her. Good luck!
P.S. While it might be good for her to hear that you think she's beautiful, it might a bit much at this stage to say it outright. Say it indirectly, such as "that shirt you're wearing looks really nice" or "I like what you're doing with your hair, it's very pretty like that." Or if you want to take a bit of a risk, "I love the color of your eyes" or "you have such a beautiful smile." Complimenting things about her rather than just targeting her in general will help boost her self-esteem and win you relationship points but won't (hopefully) overwhelm her.

It sure sounds like she's a special someone to you! It seems like it could be a great relationship but I don't understand the part where you say she's someone you can't like. Love crosses boundries all the time and you need to decide how important this obsticle is. If it is a really good reason like shes someone elses then you best move on now before you fall more in love with her or take your relationship to a different level. It will hurt but not as bad as later. I wish you both luck!

This is all potentially good news, Pumps! In your situation, I would go buy an expensive HPT, like a Clearblue Digital or a First Response, and then test tomorrow with FMU. The alternative is to go and get a blood test at your doctor's surgery, and I don't think you'd be unreasonable in doing that, to be honest, especially given all the strange goings on with your cycle this month. Do you have any other symptoms, I wonder, like sore boobs or needing to pee (other than on a stick) a lot?

It's love. It might not be true love (the Romeo/Juliet can't get my arms off you kind), but it's love. Best of all, it sounds like she really loves you, too. Go for it. It'll be better than sitting back and waiting for the perfect person to walk by.

Why can't you like her? It seems that you like her quite a bit, as long as you're not related to her, I say go for it. If you are related to her, you're just gonna have to stop thinking about her like that.

I don't understand why you say she is someone you can't like. Seems like you 2 get along great and that you really like her. Unless it's your sister go for it
