How to ask him out?

My friend wants to ask out this guy, but she doesn't want his friends around her to make fun of her when she asks him because she's very shy. He's ALWAYS swamped with friends, and they follow him wherever he goes, and she doesn't know his #. How can she ask him out if she can't get him away from his friends?

If he's a cool enough guy, he shouldn't care what his friends think. But if it's really that big of a problem, she might have to do a little digging - think up a creative excuse to get his phone number from someone who would know it, i.e. They're doing a project in a class together (and whoever it is doesn't have to know if they aren't in the same class) or something of the like. If you don't make it sound suspicious, it won't!

By the way, be on the lookout, because if his friends are the type (and by that i mean jealous), they might make fun of the two of them while they're in a relationship. This shouldn't bother most guys, but especially in middle/high school for some, what his friends think is everything.

She can ask one of her friends to have him come over by himself so she can speak with him or else if she is passing in the hall she can just wave and see if he waves back. She is probly going to have to grow a pair and just go up to him. Say that she wants to talk to him for a minute and pull him aside.

tell your friend to give the guy a note which is asking him out. it wont attract attention and also make sure he knows it from her friend

hey there girl if you want to get him away from his friends get a bunch of your friends and walk in your clique over to him and have your girls surround him **without creeping him out* and tell him that u like him and that way with your girls there even if he doesnt like you hes is likely to give you a more...polite answer and if he does like you HURRAHH!!
