Head and Shoulders is a good suggestion.
First buy and use a clarifying shampoo, this shampoo will remove any build-up left behind by other shampoos, conditioners, and styling products. Use the clarifying shampoo at least 3 days in a row, and then use dandruff shampoo, but use clarifier at least 1 time a week.
Using your fingertips massage your scalp everyday, this will increase the blood flow and nautral oil production that will enhance a healty scalp.
You can also use an astringent such as Sea Breeze, before shampooing, holding head back so liquid will not run in eyes, pour sea breeze over scalp and massage, then shampoo.

Head & Shoulders or another anti-dandruff shampoo or conditioner. Make sure you shampoo daily. Also, drink more water, and that should help keep your skin healthy.

do you use hair spray? this will dry out the scalp. also you could use head and shoulders. there is dermatologists that will suggest that you use shampoos that are natural. you can get them at a health food store and it may cause your scalp to be less dry. shampoos have alcohol in them and this dries out the scalp. i had this problem and had to go to a salon and get a moisturizer shampoo to help with the dryness. i got biolage and it is a hydrating shampoo. they have a condtioner as well.

Selsin Blue (probably spelled it wrong) is so gentle that doctors recommend it for newborns with cradle cap. Good luck!
