Most states have tattoo laws for minors, so yes he may have to come and fill out a consent form. Found this website that has each states tattoo laws.

Yes. But it's probably best to do some serious research about the tattoo shop, the artist, the cleaning techniques, etc. Don't just get a tattoo anywhere, or just because they don't mind tattooing someone so young.

depends on the state you live in. I turned 16 and my mom came with me on my birthday so i could get it done. I dont have any regrets with mine, but 16 is a young age so make sure its something you really want and wont regret doing, and imagine it on you when your like 60. Think carefully before doing, and if you go through with it, good luck :)

My son got his first one at age sixteen. He did have to show ID with his birthdate on it and I also had to sign a consent form. You might call the place you're considering and ask. Good Luck.

yes you can. i was 16 when i got mine. you just have to have a parent with you to sign saying that you have their permission. but that is if it is permitted where u live. i live in louisiana around the new orleans area and it is perfectly fine.

No, and if a shop says yes, you risk your health and risk getting a really crappy tattoo.
Plus, the artist risks getting a nice little federal child abuse charge.

Sure you can... he will have to sign a consent. I got my first when I was 16.. just had to bring moms along with me

You will have to check what the law is in your state. But most states it is legal if you have your legal guardian sign the form to get it done.

Depends where you live. Here in England you must be 18+.
