Try the Melrose the Intersection of Melrose and Broadway (1 block north of belmont).
It is a double layered crispy classic grilled cheese sandwich accompanied by french fries and a free bowlof soup (no joke).
The Melrose is the best 24-hour restaurant in all of Chicago.

i never understood why people go out to a restaurant to order grilled cheese. hmm~! but the got awesome mac n cheese at a bar called handlebar. good food there~!

just make one.
1 put butter on one side of both pieces of bread
2 put the side of the bread with the butter on the grill
3 put cheese on top of the bread
4 put them together and flip for a few minutes until golden brown
